Pastor Tim has been on staff at ACC since 2019. His favorite thing about his ministry is the team he gets to work with as well as the people we get to serve. He is happiest when we are listening to God's Word together and willingly submitting ourselves to the Holy Spirit's transformational work. Tim's favorite attribute about God is the name Immanuel because it means "God with us". Tim doesn't know where he would be without the never ending presence of God in his life.
Pastor Dallas started at ACC on December 1, 2021. Being with people and witnessing Jesus at work in them is the best part of being a pastor for Dallas. Pursuing and worshiping Jesus, together, is what we are made to do! Dallas' favorite attribute about God is how Jesus is trustworthy, always.
Pastor of Community life
Pastor Khristie has been on staff at ACC since 2016. Her favorite thing about her ministry is seeing people connect with Jesus, connect with one another and connect with our community of Sylvan Lake. Khristie's favorite attribute about God is the depth of God's love for us.
Pastor of youth & evangelism
Pastor Michael has been on staff at ACC since 2019. His favorite thing about his ministry is building a community who wants to be together and chase after the heart of Jesus. Michael's favorite attribute about God is that He is relentlessly loving.
Pastor of Community Outreach (mercy Connect)
Pastor Heather has been on staff at ACC since 2018. Her favorite thing about her ministry is serving and seeing God's hand changing lives for the better. Heather's favorite attribute about God is His faithfulness.
Kids' ministry Director
Anita has been on staff at ACC since March 2022. Anita's favourite thing about her ministry is getting to be a part of introducing kids to Jesus from an early age. Her favourite attribute of God is his faithfulness.
Director of Operations
Marlis has been on staff at ACC since 2017. She has always loved the challenges that come with administration and finance work. And now she gets to "administer" alongside a great group of people who are called to "minister". Everyone living in their spiritual giftings is a real blessing! Marlis has 2 favorite attributes about God. The first one is that He is unchanging. In a world that searches so desperately for something stable, God is the Rock of Ages. The second one is that He is a Warrior God. It always amazes Marlis that He wants to fight her battles for her!
Mary has been on staff at ACC since 2005. Her favorite thing about her ministry is the teamwork and unity of the staff. Mary's favorite attribute about God is that He loved first.
media and communications
Kait has been on staff at ACC since September 2022. Her favourite thing about her ministry is getting to use words and images to effectively communicate and make finding out about everything amazing at ACC easy and colourful. Her favourite attribute of God is his constancy when the rest of the world is chaotic. He is the same yesterday, today, forever.
Jen has been on staff at ACC since February 2020. Her favorite thing about her ministry and serving as a custodian is coming in regularly and seeing all that's happening within the church beyond Sunday mornings. Jen's favorite attribute of God is his faithfulness.
Katie has been on staff at ACC since September 2020, but has been attending ACC since she was 6 years old! Her favourite thing about her ministry is that she actually loves to clean, so getting paid to do it is a bonus and she loves being part of the action and buzz of life at ACC. Katie's favorite attribute of God is His Holiness. He is perfectly good and just and righteous and faithful and loving BECAUSE He is Holy.

Rob and his wife, Chris, have been members of ACC for about 7 years and they love their community here. Rob has served in youth ministry, small groups, and Men's Ministry at ACC in the past. Rob will be serving on the Board of Elders until September 2026.
Elder - Chairman of the board
Daryl and his wife, Jolene, moved to Sylvan Lake in 2015 and started attending ACC at that time. They have 2 children, Levi and Emma. Shortly after joining ACC they began leading life groups and Daryl joined ACC's Worship team in 2016. Daryl looks forward to serving on the Elders Board until September 2024.
Elder - Secretary
Don has been attending ACC for 27 years and is married to Shawn. As they were growing in faith, they saw the importance of committing to fellowship and participation in the church's inner workings, contributing to a gathering of people who they now regard as their special extended family. Don will be serving on the Elders Board until September 2025.
John and his wife, June, have been attending ACC since 2016. He came to know Christ and gave his life to Him in December of 2006. John loves being the facilitator of the Alpha Course here at ACC and working with the sound team for Sunday services. John will be serving on the Elders Board until September 2023.
Steve and his wife, Katie, have three young children and run a small plumbing business in Sylvan Lake. Steve grew up in Calgary, but moved to Sylvan Lake almost 12 years ago. Steven and Katie love raising their kids in a small town and within the community of ACC. Leading a men's life group has been a growing and learning experience for Steve. He will serve on the Elders Board until September 2023.
Onsy and his family have attended ACC since the summer of 2015 and became members in 2018. He currently serves on the Touch Global Missions Committee and led the Syrian Refugee Project a few years ago. He will be serving as an elder until September 2026.

Kent and his wife, Amanda, have called ACC home since the mid-1990's. They have been married since 2002 and have 2 sons, Colby and Tyler. Kent says it's been awesome to see the church grow and how it has blessed the community over the years. He looks forward to what God has in store for the church. Kent will be serving on the Board of Elders until September 2025.

Bryan and his wife, Val, have been attending ACC since 2016. Bryan's hopes and prayers for our ACC community going forward are that we continue to grow as an outward focused church that regards those around us as more significant than ourselves and acting in humility. Bryan prays that we continue to listen attentively to the written and spoken Word with obedience, being convicted and transformed through the work of the Holy Spirit. Bryan looks forward to serving on the Elders Board until September 2023.
